There are many experiences at Bump's Circus. You are invited to enjoy the stories, art and music of this wonderful place, with the guidance of Mortimer the Magnificent, Shamus O'Douilhe, Bif-Bof, or Mrs. Bump.

The Author and Friends

Bump's Circus is a novel by C. R. Bryan. It is also the introductory novel to the series, The Six Inversions of Purpose, of which the first is The Vale of Unika. Bump's Circus is also a storyboard book, a screenplay, and the home base for such adventures as Bump's Circus on Tour. You can read excerpts from these books, listen to readings, and buy the books in hard copies or as multi-media books as they become available.

You may choose to be guided through Bump's Circus by one of the characters, and you may correspond with your favorite character when you become a member of the Friends of the Vale. While we are building this site, some features may not be available. Thank you for your interest. Enjoy the Show!

Frea the Unicorn wears the necklace Brisinghame. How she appears as a Unicorn is a mystery. She is wise and fierce to enemies, but sweet and soft to her friends.

Mrs. Bump is part-owner of Bump Circus, and loves everyone of the performers. She also loves to make and serve food of all sorts, and performs as a clown and animal trainer, and also as an acrobat in the Circus. She especially loves all animals.
